Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, US President Joe Biden discuss bilateral relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and U.S. President Joe Biden discussed over a phone call the historic ties and strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.

President Biden sought “to reaffirm the long-standing partnership” and congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on this year’s 50th anniversary of the UAE’s formation.

“Our two nations continue to strengthen our strategic relations and build on strong common interests,” Sheikh Mohamed said on Twitter.

The two leaders discussed a number of issues and the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern, foremost of which are developments in the Arabian Gulf, Middle East and Horn of Africa regions.
