Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed meets Indian Minister of External Affairs in New Delhi
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, met India’s Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi on Friday.
The leaders discussed the strong ties between the two countries and ways to increase co-operation and partnership in various fields.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the friendly relations between India and the UAE. He said the Emirates was keen to strengthen and develop ties further.
In 2019, trade between India and the UAE was valued at $59 billion, making the UAE India’s third largest trading partner that year — after China and the US. .
The UAE is India’s second largest export partner after the US.
