Photos inside UAE’s humanitarian compound for Afghan evacuees

UAE is now housing 8,500 Afghan people, especially women and children, after fleeing their home country. They are being given with social support and care.

They were transported to a humanitarian camp just outside of Abu Dhabi after fleeing their home country.

The reception hall at Emirates Humanitarian City in Abu Dhabi, where evacuees from Afghanistan are being brought.

In addition, the UAE has facilitated the evacuation of about 40,000 Afghans and foreign nationals from Afghanistan using its national aircraft and airports.

UAE medical workers work hard to make sure everyone arriving at the Afghan evacuee centre is healthy.
