Dubai’s Emirates has taken off for its first flight ever to Miami. This is airline’s first new destination launched since the pandemic.
Emirates Airline is operating over 60 percent of its pre-pandemic capacity to the United States and continues to expand its presence in line with increasing passenger traffic.
This new service will also serve as a gateway to Central and South America as well as the Caribbean Islands. Travellers will be able to connect to the Emirates network of more than 120 destinations.

The UAE today sent an aircraft carrying 9 metric tonnes of medical supplies and 300,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to the Union of the Comoros. This will help the country curb the Covid19 virus.

UAE’s Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) provided relief aid that contains food, medical supplies, clothes and other necessities to thousands of Iraqi refugees affected by the fire in Dohuk, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
Fahad Abdulrahman bin Sultan, Deputy Secretary-General for International Development and Cooperation at the ERC, stressed that the ERC’s efforts to support those affected by the fire at the camp is part of the UAE’s continuous solidarity with victims of natural disasters and crises around the world, adding that the ERC monitored the news about the fire and its impact on refugee families and offered support to mitigate its repercussions.
The people affected by the fire showed appreciation for the support they received and grateful to ERC’s presence at such a difficult time.
